About Our Herd

We have carefully selected our breeding stock to provide a diversified herd of which we are very proud.  Our breeding philosophy is to continually upgrade the next generation by breeding our females to top quality herdsires.  We carefully select the right sire for each female, using our own herdsires or outside sires as appropriate.

We are proud to have bloodlines from the following herdsires on our farm:

A Peek at Some of Our Animals!

Sunlight is a new addition to the herd this past spring.  She found us at the Snowmass Auction in Phoenix.  She's already given us a new addition to the herd, a frisky little silver grey boy, named Grey Skies.

Perdita, a beautiful medium fawn animal, shown here with her 2-day old  cria,  Barrington.  Perdita was a blue ribbon winner before she was a year old.  Barrington is now a beautiful strapping junior herdsire that is winning his own ribbons in the show ring.

Miranda was nick-named "Beautiful Face" by Steve's nephew's 7-year old twin daughters - Meghan and Heather.  More than just another pretty face, Miranda has great conformation, soft, dense fiber and a perfect head.  Her sire, Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote, owned by Mountain Edge Alpacas, sheared almost 13 pounds of fiber!    Miranda, seen here as a yearling, has now given us two girls, the beautiful Carmela and Lucy.
